Setting up your email client

Once you have setup your email accounts you can go ahead and configure your email client to send and receive email.

Configure your email client as follows:

OUTGOING MAIL SMTP SERVER: smtp.your-isp.com (this is your dial-up ISP's SMTP server, not ours)

INCOMING MAIL POP3 SERVER: mail.<your-domain>

To configure Outlook or Outlook Express to send and receive mail follow the steps below:

1) Click on Tools then Accounts from the Outlook menu bar.


2) Click on Add then Mail.

3) Enter the name in the display name field then click on next.

4) Enter your email address then click next.

5) Enter your mail server name under the incoming and outgoing mail server field then click on next.

6) On the next screen enter your username and password.

7) Outlook will then prompt you for your connection method, select the appropriate connection method then click on next then finish.

8) Now you need to set Outlook to authenticate with the outgoing mail server - select the account you just setup, hit properties then move to the servers tab. Here select my server requires authentication (make sure it is checked).
