If you have a domain already registered and so only want to transfer
the hosting to WWWserver, you have a number of options.
UK Domain Names: (.co.uk .org.uk .ltd.uk .me.uk)
Option #1: Update your DNS and keep your domain name
with your current Registrar.
Action: When adding your domain select option 1 (no transfer),
update your DNS (or have your Registrar do it) using the DNS server
information in your control panel (see
here)
Fees: None from WWWserver, domain renewal paid through your
current Registrar.
Option #2: Update your DNS and transfer your domain
name to our Registrar.
Action: When adding your domain select option 1 (no transfer),
update your DNS (or have your Registrar do it) using the DNS server
information in your control panel (see
here). Ask your Registrar to transfer your domain to
the WWWserver IPS TAG (VIBUS).
Fees: Domain renewal paid through WWWserver - £10 for
2 years.
US/Global Domain Names: (.com .net .org .biz
.info)
Option #1: Update your DNS and keep your domain name
with your current Registrar.
Action: When adding your domain select option 1 (no transfer),
update your DNS (or have your Registrar do it) using the DNS server
information in your control panel (see
here)
Fees: None from WWWserver, domain renewal paid through your
current Registrar.
Option #2: Update your DNS and transfer your domain
name to our Registrar.
Action: When adding your domain select option 3 (transfer
this domain), update your DNS (or have your Registrar do it) using
the DNS server information in your control panel (see
here). WWWserver will then initiate the domain transfer
and an email will be sent to the domains registered Admin contact
(who must respond). Your Registrar must also respond for the transfer
to be sucessful. This process can take 10-14 days so you should
update DNS first.
Fees: £10 transfer fee, this does add 1 year to your current
domain renewal fees. Domain renewal paid through WWWserver - £10
per year.
Other Domain Names: (.cc .tv .be .cz .nl .fr
etc)
